TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The Herzl Hotel Association, Limited Partnership number 550005532 of 6 Zeev Vilnai Street, Gesher Rupin, Jerusalem 91033, Israel (hereinafter: “the Hotel” or “Ramada Hotel Jerusalem”) are the owners of the website and have the exclusive copyright in the website including all the modules related thereto. Except for downloads made for personal use only and not for commercial purposes the information appearing on this website may not be copied, published, reproduced, changed, distributed, sold or modified without the written permission of the Ramada Jerusalem Hotel. No permission or right is granted to use any trademark appearing on the website without the Ramada Hotel Jerusalem’s prior written approval. All rights on the website, without exception, are reserved exclusively for the Ramada Jerusalem Hotel. Illegal use of the website or the information appearing on the website constitutes a violation of copyright or other related laws.
- Customers wishing to purchase services through the website and/or customers who visit the website declare and undertake on accessing the website that they are aware and agree to the website regulations and the terms thereof and neither they nor any party on their behalf will have any claim and/or demand directly or indirectly, against the website and/or any of its operators or owners or managers and/or any party on their behalf.
- Credit card details are entered solely in order to secure the order. The customer will receive an automatic e-mail confirming the reservation after entering the credit card details. The guest must print and present this notice at the hotel reception as a condition for receiving the reception and hospitality services. This order confirmation is automatic, and the credit card will only be charged upon arrival at the hotel or if other billing conditions have been agreed upon and subject to the following. At the hotel’s sole discretion, it is clarified that during holiday seasons or periods/seasons when the demand for rooms is high, the credit card will be charged upon booking of the reservation.
- Cancellation of an order through the website will be made subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (hereinafter: the “Consumer Protection Law”), including the regulations promulgated thereunder, after the Customer books the reservation through the website’s reservation system and the hotel has confirmed the terms of the transaction.
- Reservations may be cancelled by calling the hotel at: 02-659-9999 as well as by written notice to be sent to the reservations department by e-mail at: [email protected]. The cancellation notice will specify the guest’s full details including: first and last name, ID number, details of the dates when the services were ordered at the Ramada Hotel and the reservation confirmation number.
- Except for reservations for Jewish Holydays or periods/seasons when the demand for rooms is high and subject to the hotel’s discretion, a reservation may be cancelled at least 21 days prior to arrival at the hotel without cancellation fees. After that date, guests will be charged the price of a one-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
- In the event of the guest failing to arrive (‘NON SHOW’) at the hotel, for any reason, the guest will be charged the full cost of the stay according to the reservation made.
- Cancellation fees for a one-night stay during weekends will be charged on a full-board basis.
- Reservations for the Jewish Holidays (Rosh Hashana, Sukkot, Passover and Shavuot) or for periods which the hotel declares to be dates for which demand is high, can only be cancelled without cancellation fees if cancelled no less than 45 days before arrival. Cancellation after the specified date will result in a cancellation fee equal to the advance paid by the guest or the price of a 2-night stay on a full-board basis, whichever is higher.
- Cancellations made 21 days prior to arrival or later will result in full cancellation fees.
- The hotel may, at its sole discretion and from time to time, change the cancellation terms of reservations.
- Changes to a reservation booked via the hotel’s website can only be made in writing by e-mail to the Ramada Hotel’s reservation center via the following e-mail address: [email protected].
After the change request is sent by the guest, the hotel’s telephone representative must be contacted at 02-659-9999 to verify receipt of the change request by the hotel. If no reply is received from the hotel within 2 business days, the guest must recontact the hotel to verify and follow up his request. If the party making the reservation changes the reservation as above, the effective date of the reservation change will be the date on which the e-mail is received by Ramada Hotel Jerusalem’s reservation center. Change requests will not be accepted in any other manner. No claims regarding changes will be accepted without the support of a written document, signed and approved by the Ramada Jerusalem Hotel’s reservation center. If the change in the date of the reservation involves a price increase, the prospective guest will bear the difference involved in the change upon making the change.
- The prices displayed on the hotel’s website may change from time to time at the hotel’s discretion. The change may apply to any reservation that has yet to be approved by the reservation department or for which the full price has not yet been paid.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel will be entitled not to confirm and/or unilaterally cancel any transaction recorded in the system, even if the customer received a confirmation message automatically, in the following cases:
- The Ramada Jerusalem Hotel has the right to cancel or change the conditions for accepting reservations as well as all the prices published on the website at any time.
- If an error occurs in the transaction price, this will not be binding on the company which may credit the customer with the amount of the transaction to the extent it has been paid and/or contact the customer in order to correct the reservation.
- In the event of an error occurring in the items of an advertisement or on account of any other human error.
- In the event of an error having occurred in the reservation for whatever reason as determined solely by the company.
No cancellation fees will apply to cancellations as stated in this subsection.
- The prices specified on the website are in New Shekels and include VAT at the rate of 17% (subject to changes in this rate according to the provisions of the law).
- Prices quoted in Dollars (if published) are intended for tourists only (who do not hold an Israeli ID card/passport) and are exclusive of VAT. Only tourists with 2B 3B or 4B entry visas to Israel will be entitled to these prices on which the VAT rate is 0%.
- The hotel bears no responsibility for additional charges made by the credit company and therefore, the amount shown is not final and may change in accordance with the policies and procedures of the credit company or any other party on its behalf.
- Guests will be charged for reservations made by credit card the particulars of which have been provided on booking the reservation. The guest hereby grants his/her irrevocable consent to such charge being made, subject to the terms of these regulations.
- Rooms at the Ramada Jerusalem hotel are available from 15:00 onwards, on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 on the departure date.
- Early arrivals or late departures may only be arranged in advance in writing, subject to the availability of rooms at the hotel on the arrival or the departure date. The hotel makes a further charge for this service, according to its tariffs.
- Receipt of rooms at the hotel on sabbath or on Jewish holidays is only enabled two hours after the sabbath/holiday has ended. These hours may change depending on the times on which the sabbath or the holiday ends.
- Hotel rooms are designed for up to 3 persons only. For a greater number of guests in one room, an additional room(s) must be reserved.
- The hotel has a limited number of family rooms for couples + two children. The hotel gives no undertaking in advance regarding the availability of these rooms and arrangements must be made in advance with the reservation department to ascertain that such rooms are available.
- The hotel has 2 business floors for individuals or couples only. The minimum age for reserving the rooms on these floors is 18 years.
- Members of the Kinor David Club are entitled to a discount at the rate to be determined by the hotel management from time to time. The discount and/or additional benefits will be granted subject to the Club rules and may vary from time to time, at the hotel’s discretion.
- The hotel may cancel membership of the Club for visitors who do not use the hotel services for 12 months.
- No multiple discounts and/or promotions and/or benefits apply.
- No charge is made for infants up to 2-years old who sleep in their parents’ room in cribs. Children aged between 2-12 will be entitled to a reduced price at the hotel’s decision.
- Rooms in the Jerusalem Ramada hotel and hotel services are available for adults of 18 years of age and above only.
- Booking of reservations requires entry of data, and care must be taken therefore to ensure the accuracy and correctness of such data. The Ramada hotel is not responsible for any errors that may be made by the guest in entry of the details of the purchase, including errors in the selection of the hotel, dates, the number of beds and any other service that will be ordered by the guest via the website.
- Orders through the website are for individual guest stays only and no reservation may be placed for more than 3 rooms under the same guest name. No room reservations via the website may be made in excess of 4 rooms for the same dates. Reservations for such room numbers and above can only be made via the hotel’s reservations department. Such reservations if nonetheless made via the website will be invalid, and will be unilaterally cancelled by the hotel.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel and/or persons who operate the website and/or the owners and/or managers thereof or persons on their behalf give no guarantee that the server through which the website operates is free of viruses or other components that could harm personal computers when entering the website or ordering services via, or otherwise using, the website.
- Pictures on the website are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from or vary in comparison with the actual situation.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel is not responsible for any damage that may be incurred as a result of the failure or delay in attempting to use the website, including use made for purposes of making a reservation.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel bears no responsibility for any illegal activity of any guest in the website or of any other factor that is beyond its control.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel may at any time suspend or prevent the engagement or access by a prospective guest of any part of the website.
- The content appearing on the website is addressed equally to both men and women.
- The Ramada Jerusalem hotel reserves the right to vary the structure, content, rules and regulations of and for using the website including but not limited to the prices published, without prior notice.
- Any disputes arising will be resolved in Israel, in the courts of the city of Jerusalem only, and no other court shall have any jurisdiction whatsoever to dispose of such disputes
